Pangasinan 4th District Representative Christopher “Toff” De Venecia welcomed this year’s Pride Month by recalling the first time he joined the fight to pass the anti-discrimination bill in Congress.
On Tuesday, June 1, the young politiko posted a photo of him along with other legislators supporting the proposed sexual orientation and gender identity expression (SOGIE) equality bill in the House of Representatives four years ago.
It was De Venecia’s way of celebrating Pride Month and reminding his supporters that he will continue supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
“THROWBACK TUESDAY! (Yes, napaaga). 4 years ago, we sought to fight discrimination against the #LGBTQIA+ community by advocating for the passage of the SOGIE Equality Bill. Today, we’re still fighting,” said De Venecia.
