Baguio City Representative Mark Go admires just how enduring the people of the Cordilleras are.
The politiko made the statement on Thursday, July 15, for the 34th Cordillera Day.
“The history of the Cordilleras show that we are a people of strength and fortitude. We are not easily broken down by the adversities that come our way,” said Go.
“This is why our culture and identity remain intact, because we know how to keep our resolve. We press on and weather the storm, because we know that eventually the clouds will part, and the light will shine,” he added.
