Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos called on the winners of the recent Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections to be responsive to the needs of their communities.
The Ilocos Norte politiko made the statement during the mandatory training of SK officials in Cauayan City, Isabala last May 19.
“What is the future you want?” Marcos asked.
She lamented the overemphasis on entertainment and recreation, such as pageants and sports competitions, for which the former SK had become notorious.
