Ilocos Norte Vice Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos reminded the public that the easing of quarantine measures does not automatically mean the public is now safe from COVID-19.
On Monday, May 18, the politiko shared a Facebook graphic that read, “Just in case people don’t understand, places are reopening for the economy, not because it’s safe.”
Marcos then told Ilocanos to stay disciplined so as not to further spread COVID-19. The province has recorded no new cases of the virus for almost two months now.
“Please remember. So still stay safe! Sa ikauunlad ng probinsiya, Disiplina ang kailangan,” Marcos said.
