Baguio City Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan said the City Council will definitely support the proposed development of the Summer Capital’s public market and the Burnham Park complex.
Mayor Benjamin Domogan previously said that he wants to rehabilitate the two Baguio tourist attractions.
Olowan said the City Council are waiting for the development plans for both sites.
He also vowed that the City Council will give its approval to the proposals.
“We will support the initiative of the city government to work out the development of our public market which is long overdue and Burnham Park, the premier park of the city, so we can improve the state of our tourist spots for us to sustain the growth of the city’s tourism industry,” he said.
