Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos, the eldest son of former Senator Bongbong Marcos, has announced his bid for a seat in the House of Representatives for Ilocos Norte.
“I thank you for all the support and heed your call to serve our beloved province,” Marcos said in a speech announcing his candidacy, attempting to represent the first district of the province.
The 27-year-old budding Politiko is also the cousin of incumbent Ilocos Norte Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc.
He is expected to run against the Fariñas clan, who also has a stronghold of the province.
