Now that he is one of Isabela’s congressmen, Antonio “Tonypet” Albano stepped down as president of the League of the Vice Governors of the Philippines (LVGP.)
On Thursday, July 11, the politiko presented to President Rodrigo Duterte the new LVGP officers at Malacañang.
Albano was quite amused by what Duterte had to say during the ceremony, as the latter alluded to the ongoing crazy battle that is the speakership race.
“As I bow down from being the LVGP National President to pass the baton, our amiable President Duterte was gracious enough to give these officers time and tell them what needs to be done for the sake of our beloved country,” said Albano.
“And PRRD made us laugh when he said, “I like this group. You are so united and solid, and you don’t have to have any ‘term sharing’ problems. (Referring to what’s happening in Congress),” he continued.
Ready ka na ba sa royal rumble sa Kamara, Cong. Tonypet?
