Traffic jams reported in Laoag during resumption of F2F classes

Students and parents going to the first day of face to face classes met with traffic jams in Laoag City on Monday, August 22.

School officials at the Ilocos Norte National High School said that traffic congestion could get even worse as more students participate to the full implementation face-to-face (F2F) classes.

Data from the Schools Division of Ilocos Norte (SDOIN) showed a total 85,515 enrolees so far from kindergarten to senior high school.

“Prior to the opening of classes, we requested our barangay tanods and the municipal police to help us man the expected traffic during rush hours,” Rolen Oracion, principal of the San Nicolas Elementary School said.
