Isabela 1st District Representative Antonio “Tonypet” Albano now knows how if feels to be at the seat of power of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. – sort of.

On Wednesday, June 22, the North Luzon politiko and Macoy fan boy changed his Facebook profile photo to that of him sitting on the very same desk Marcos had used when he was still president.

A lawmaker from the Solid North, Albano staunchly backed the candidacy of Marcos’ only son and now President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

“I sat on the historical chair, where the very seal, desk, chair, gavel, and flag was once used by the former President Ferdinand E. Marcos. The future historians will write more about FEM’s legacy and blunders. What is clear is that he served the country the best way he knew how… and that God will be the sole judge in the end,” said Albano.

“So let’s help and pray for our present and future leaders, because they are important figures that can help shape our lives and our country. We have but One nation, One country, under One God,” he added.
