Pangasinan 4th District Representative Christopher de Venecia said the use of bamboo materials in schools is hitting two birds with one stone.

The Pangasinan politiko said doing so will help also help the bamboo industry.

De Venecia also said he suggested an increase in the budget of four agencies under the Department of Education (DepEd).

These are the Philippine High School for the Arts (PHSA), National Council for Children’s Television (NCCT), National Book Development Board (NBDB), and the National Museum (NM).
