Pangasinan 4th District Representative Christopher de Venecia has been elected as Deputy Majority Leader of the 18th Congress.
The Pangasinan politiko also said he will be returning to the Committee on Rules where he “came of age and learned the ropes” during his first term.
“Happy to be elected today as Deputy Majority Leader of the 18th Congress,” he said.
De Venecia was formerly Assistant Majority Leader under former majority leader and Ilocos Norte politiko Rodolfo Fariñas.
“Happy to be serving directly under our newly elected Majority Leader Martin Romualdez as well as Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano,” he said.
