Pangasinan 4th District Representative Christopher de Venecia on July 28 said both the government and telecommunications companies should work together to provide fast internet services.
President Rodrigo Duterte, in his State of the Nation Address (SONA), threatened to shut down Smart and Globe if they do not improve their services by December.
But the telcos said government red tape has been a huge obstacle in improving internet connectivity.
So, dapat, agad-agad matutukan ito,” he added.
