Surge is over: Pangasinan reports decline in COVID cases

The provincial government of Pangasinan has reported a significant decline in COVID-19 cases.

Pangasinan Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) Chief and IATF member Rhodlyn Oro said that the average daily cases in the province continues to decline for the last few weeks. He also noted that the number is expected to be significantly lower than the 249 average in September.

As of October 17, Pangasinan has recorded 215 new infections, pushing the number of active cases to 1,561.
