0 207

Ilocos Norte’s cultural town of Adams announced that they are limiting the number of tourists allowed to enter the border per day after they recorded a spike in COVID-19 infections.

According to the LGU, they will only allow 150 tourists per day to visit its famed natural attractions. Despite being located approximately 108.3 kilometers north of the capital city of Laoag, the town recorded new active cases since they reopened local tourism.

Adams was also the last town in Ilocos Norte to record a case of COVID-19 after a returning resident from Quezon City tested positive for the disease on April 24.
