Additional teams to search the waters off Isabela have been deployed after rescuers failed to locate the missing Cessna plane and its six passengers 12 days after it lost contact.
In an advisory, Isabela provincial disaster risk reduction management officer and incident management team commander Constante Foronda, said that the Philippine Coast Guard is now helping in the search operations.
Foronda noted that the initial target site at Barangay Dicaruyan, Divilacan, Isabela was already covered with no signs of the missing aircraft.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines also announced that it is currently looking into radar station records in Appari, Cagayan, Laoag City in Benguet, and Tagaytay in Cavite that may have tracked the Cessna 206 before it disappeared.
