Pinoy athletes that will be participating in the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games will be staying in training “bubbles” at Teachers’ Camp in Baguio City, the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) said on Sunday.
According to the PSC, at least a hundred national athletes will be traveling to the Summer Capital of the Philippines starting monday to prepare for the regional games.
The Baguio City LGU, on the other hand, reassured the residents that this will not start an outbreak in the city, as everyone will be enforced to follow and observe necessary measures before they can enter borders.
Under the bubble arrangement, none of the athletes may leave their training zone. Athletes are also not allowed to go on separate tours and visit downtown Baguio, except for leisure areas that may be cleared exclusively for them.
