Offices, session halls, and support functions of the Baguio City Council will be closed and placed under a four-day lockdown starting Tuesday, after 12 personnel tested positive for COVID-19.
“I ordered a lockdown until Friday to give way to disinfection of the offices,” Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan confirmed.
The Politiko added that alternative work arrangements are now in place, while some have maintained a skeleton workforce to ensure continued operations. He added that they are doing thorough disinfection processes that will last until the weekend.
Vice Mayor Olowan noted that they are planning to resume the session of the legislative branch by September 20, Monday.
