Sandro, the scion of the Marcos clan, had a taste of what it’s like to use a kariton – well, sort of.
On Monday, October 11, the congressional aspirant joined his cousin, Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc, in distributing modernized “kariton” and livelihood assistance to vendors in the province.
Sandro shared on Instagram a photo of him and Manotoc riding two of the modern kariton with bikes that they were giving out.
“We hope our kakailians find innovative ways to promote their food products and wish them all the luck in their new venture. Excited to see you guys around the province apo!” said Marcos.
Marcos, son of the former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., is running for congressman of Ilocos Norte’s 1st District in the 2022 elections. His father is running for president.
