Sandiganbayan has granted Ilocos Norte 2nd District Representative Imelda Marcos bail while appealing her conviction of seven counts of graft.
The anti-graft court said the Ilocos Norte politiko “was required to post a cash bond double the amount of her original bond.”
Her original bond was P150,000.
This means she will have to post a P300,000-bail.
Following the Sandiganbayan order, Marcos withdrew her candidacy for Ilocos Norte governor on November 29.
