Baguio City Representative Mark Go and his wife Sol decided to buy a truck’s worth of produce from Atok farmers to help them amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The politiko said on Wednesday, March 29, farmers are among the hardest hit by the outbreak, so he and his wife decided to help them.
“Our farmers are working hard even during the COVID-19 Pandemic! In the past few days, Benguet farmers have been struggling due to the disruption of the supply chain,” Go said.
“To help our hardworking farmers and to provide healthier relief goods to our constituents in Baguio, my wife Sol and I purchased a truck of produce from Atok farmers. These are now being distributed to different barangays in our city,” he added.
