The Sagada municipal government said the town’s current travel guidelines will remain in effect as it adjusts to the adoption of uniform travel protocols recommended by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).
Under IATF’s Resolution 101, local government units are no longer required to enforce coronavirus disease (COVID19) testing and quarantine upon arrival for tourists.
Only those with symptoms will be asked to undergo tests and quarantine.
The Sagada municipal government stated that it is currently making preparations for the adoption of the uniform protocols.
“While the Local Government Unit of Sagada prepares to align its protocols to the provisions in the IATF Resolution No. 101, current guidelines shall remain in effect,” it stated.
