Laoag Mayor Michael Marcos Keon was happy his nephew Simon Marcos – whom he last saw during the 2019 campaign – finally visited his city again.
The politiko said the son of his cousin, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., paid him a visit in Laoag on Friday, July 31.
Keon said Simon had joined him back when he was still running for Laoag City mayor in 2019. The mayor said his nephew gifted him with a COVID-19 survival kit after they talked about how Laoag has been battling the pandemic.
“I was very glad to welcome Simon Marcos, son of Bongbong Marcos, and his companions to my office the other day,” Keon said.
“Simon gave me a Covid survival kit that includes facemasks, medicine and antibody test kit. Thank you Simon for the visit and for the gift. I hope to see you again soon,” he added.
