Isabela Vice Governor Antonio “Tonypet” Albano was grateful for all the local rescuers in his province who worked overtime during Typhoon Ompong.
The politiko saluted them in an Instagram post on Tuesday, September 18.
“I thank all the real heroes who have risked their lives to save others. They are the Isabela PDRRMC (Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee/team), Governor’s and Vice Governor’s Office, Isabela Phil Red Cross, PNP, AFP, BFP, DSWD, DOH Isabela, DEPED, Provincial Agency Heads, Sangunihan Panlalawigan, DILG, LGUs, and volunteers. Isabela has again proved itself as the No. 1 province in preparedness and disaster risk management with “Zero Casualties” once more!” said Albano.
“Only prayers and help now go out now for our devastated crop farmers, and our neighboring provinces in Luzon that got hit badly, had casualties, and untold injuries and devastation. May God protect us all from disasters, harm, and evil occurrences!” he added.
