Baguio City Mayor and contact tracing czar Benjamin Magalong proudly updated the public that they have been improving strategies on contact tracing to control the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
In a press briefing, the Politiko said: “We’re just trying to be realistic about it. Our previous standard is 1:37, hindi po talagang kayang gawin (it’s not feasible).”
According to their latest update, the country is lowering its standard for COVID-19 contact-tracing to a more “reasonable” ratio: from 37 to 15 for every patient. According to Mayor Magalong, the National Task Force Against COVID-19 has agreed to lower the standard ratio to less than half the original target.
