Former senator Bongbong Marcos on January 29 said he will withdraw his pending motions before the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) if Vice President Leni Robredo will do the same.
The Ilocos Norte politiko said the move will enable the PET to expedite the resolution of his electoral protest against Robredo.
“I issue the challenge to Leni Robredo, withdraw all your motion. I will withdraw all my motions para wala ng pag-aralan ang korte and we can proceed with the recount,” Marcos said.
He said he and Robredo should sign a manifestation to withdraw all petitions with the PET.
Marcos accused Robredo of cheating in the 2016 polls.#
