Pangasinan’s Tree Library finally OKd
The construction of Pangasinan’s first Tree Library will finally push through in Laoac.
This comes after the provincial board authorized Governor Amado Espino III to sign a deed of usufruct with the municipal government of Laoac.
The deed of usufruct will allow the provincial government to build the Tree Library in the four-hectare lot in Barangay Botigue in Laoac.
The site of the Tree Library will be planted with several tree species with canopy-like branches.
A 2.2 hectare property in Laoac was supposed to be the original site for the Tree Library but it had to give way to the construction of the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX).
