Pangasinan reminds residents to follow health protocols for ‘new normal’

Provincial Health Office Chief Dr. Anna de Guzman called on Pangasinenses to comply with the health protocols for the “new normal.”

De Guzman said residents need to keep up with the health practices amid the coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic.

“Everyone should practice the following to keep up with the new normal: practice cough and sneezing etiquette, regular hand washing, healthy lifestyle, physical distancing, thermal screening, ready access to alcohol, and hand sanitizers in offices and business centers,” she said.

De Guzman also called on local government units (LGU) to coordinate with them regarding COVID19 rapid testing.

She explained that the Region 1 Medical Center (R1MC) and Provincial Health Office will need to do confirmatory tests of individuals who will be positive after taking rapid tests.
