Pangasinan’s Bonuan Boquig National High School (BBNHS) has been shortlisted for several prize categories in World’s Best Schools for Environmental Action.
The school’s program, ‘Ilog ko, Aroen ko’ (Ilog ko, mamahalin ko) Adopt a River Project, has been reaping recognition not only in the country but also worldwide. It has been shortlisted in the competition among 1,000 other entries.
Mayor Belen Fernandez congratulated the BBHNS and all those who made the “Ilog ko, Aroen ko” Project.
“I congratulate you for being an inspiration to us all and for making it to the Top 3 of the World’s Best School for Environmental Action 2022…you have made this City proud for this victory,” the Politiko said.
The winners will be announced on October 19.
