Major events of this year’s Panagbenga Flower Festival have been rescheduled to March.
Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong earlier postponed the activities due to the coronavirus scare.
It will be the first time that most of the Panagbenga’s activities will be held in March.
The annual festival is usually held in February.
The Baguio politiko also said there is no need for the city government to step in the organization of the festival.
The Panagbenga is organized by the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. (BFFFI).
“The yearly audit that the BFFFI submits is extensive. I am satisfied with the report. What’s important is they are transparent,” Magalong said.
