A new evacuation center in Lingayen, Pangasinan was successfully turned over by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor).
According to local reports, the P50-million two-story emergency building is equipped with advanced and modern facilities such as kitchen and storage areas, toilet and shower rooms for males and females, and lactating rooms for nursing mothers.
Pagcor officials including Vice President Ramon Stephen Villaflor, and Assistant Vice Presidents Carmelita Valdez and Eric Balcos attended the turnover ceremony. Also present in the event was Lingayen Mayor Leopoldo Bataoil, Vice Mayor Mac Dexter Malicdem, and the entire Sangguniang Bayan.
