Opening soon! Tabuk City to launch own COVID-19 treatment, monitoring facility

To keep up with the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, the city government of Tabuk, Kalinga has opened a temporary treatment and monitoring facility over the weekend.

According to Mayor Darwin Estranero, the 100-bed facility is on the final stage of construction and is expected to fully operate by the end of the month. At present, only 67 of the beds are ready to accommodate patients.

The Politiko also said the P25 million cost of the project was derived from the 2020 national government’s P93M Bayanihan fund assistance to the city for COVID-19 response operation. He added that this will be beneficial as the province continue to battle the global pandemic.
