The new provincial police chief of Pangasinan said Governor Amado Espino III already gave his marching orders to him.
P/Colonel Rederico Maranan said the Pangasinan politiko told him to keep the province orderly.
Maranan said the order was given before he was even able to give a courtesy call to Espino.
“The governor is right. If order has been established, the result will be peace,” he said.
Maranan also said he wants the police to be able to respond to the public.
“Dapat makikita sa kalye ang mga pulis. Kung may huhulihin doon, dapat nandoon na ang mga pulis,” he said.
