Patients waiting to be admitted in Cagayan Valley Medical Center were evacuated ahead of Typhoon Kiko’s onslaught in the province.
One of the biggest COVID-19 referral hospitals in Region 2, Cagayan Valley Medical Center has 224 virus patients, of which 209 were confirmed to be positive while others were suspected of carrying COVID-19, its hospital chief, Glenn Matthew Bagao, said.
The province was placed under tropical cyclone wind Signal No. 3, which warns of destructive typhoon-force winds.
