Nueva Ecija 1st District Rep. Estrellita Suansing spent a busy Thursday in her home province, based on her Facebook posts.
As early as 8:30 a.m., the politiko was in Aliaga town to visit a newly constructed drainage canal in Barangay Poblacion West IV.
She said she was joined by Barangay Captain Isidro Ispicio and Sangguniang Barangay member Noyms Casis, who is her ‘mistah.’
“Hangad natin na madugtungan ito para maibsan ang problema sa baha,” Suansing said.
By 10 a.m., she attended the turnover of farm machineries, courtesy of the Department of Agriculture, to officers and members of RGS Aliaga, RGS Zaragoza, RGS Sto. Domingo and RGS Guimba.
“Ito po ay mga karagdagang makinarya na makakatulong sa pagpapalago ng kanilang organisasyon,” Suansing wrote.
At noontime, the lawmaker said she had a meeting with the Regional Director of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, and Cuyapo Mayor Flor Esteban with regard to a bill she authored that is now being heard in the Senate.
“Ito po ay patungkol sa pagkakaroon ng Breeding Station of Shrimps and Fishes at Research Center sa Bayan ng Cuyapo,” she said.
The congresswoman disclosed that an initial area assessment for the proposed station and center is already set on Oct. 2.
