The Commission on Elections (Comelec) Baguio City calls for more voter registrations before the deadline in September 30.
Atty. John Paul Martin, local election officer, expressed that the office is hoping to get all eligible voters to register for the 2022 elections especially the new voters.
He said their 10,000 target registration was set based on the 100 average daily registrations they process including transfer, correction, revival of registration, or registration as a new voter.
“Like in previous registration schedules, people were catching up on the last days of the registration which we hope will not happen considering that we are still in a Covid-19 pandemic,” Atty. Martin said.
