Baguio City Representative Mark Go urged residents to proactively help those who are suffering from mental health issues.
The politiko made this call in his speech during the flag-raising ceremony in the city on Monday, February 22.
“Recognizing our role in helping those who are anxious and depressed will go a long way in promoting mental resilience. Let us all take extra care of our physical and mental health so that we can be of more service to one another.” Go said.
“𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 𝗗𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽. We need each other. We belong to each other and this sense of belongingness will help us get through,” he added.
