Buguias Mayor Ruben Tindaan said the municipal government exercised transparency in the awarding of stalls in the town’s new market building.
This after dozens of vendors slammed the Buguias municipal government for alleged favoritism.
The Benguet politiko said the awarding of stalls to legitimate vendors underwent the required processes.
Tindaan said the complaining vendors would have been aware of the procedures if they attended the various consultations on the new vending requirements.
“Let us also consider the plight of the majority of the market vendors,” he said.
