Atok Mayor Raymundo Sarac has ordered the suspension of all tourism activities in the town amid the 2019 novel coronavirus (nCoV) scare.
The Benguet politiko issued an executive order suspending tourism activities starting February 6.
Sarac said the move is to stop the possible spread of nCoV.
The Atok municipal government has also created a task force to deal with nCoV.
“This is to assure that we know what we are doing if a case is recorded,” Sarac said.
