La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda called on government agencies and local government units to observe proper coronavirus disease (COVID19) protocols.
This after representatives of a law enforcement agency allegedly didn’t observe proper protocols when they “barged’ in La Trinidad’s operation center.
The law enforcement personnel supposedly didn’t properly introduce themselves and demanded the contact tracing records of a UK variant COVID19 patient.
“If there are people who are demanding that we will respect their authority, then they should also return the compliment by respecting our authority over the municipality and informing us on their desired activities in the locality,” Salda said.
He said it’s improper for the law enforcement personnel to “simply barge in our operation center and demand for whatever details they want to know about our first case of the new variant.”
