La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda said a task force is now checking the feasibility of several proposals to synchronize the closing time of establishments at night.
The Benguet politiko said the proposals aim to make the job of the law enforcers easier.
Salda explained that having a mandatory midnight closing time for all establishments will allow law enforcers to focus on anti-criminality duties.
“We need the expert opinion of the members of the task force that is why we authorized them to evaluate and assess the status of the operation of the night establishments in the municipality,” he said.
“We will work on whatever will be the recommendations of the task force that is why we will wait for the outcome of their ongoing assessment,” Salda added.
