La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda said some property owners have been hesitant to comply with the road clearing operations of the municipal government.
The Benguet politiko explained that there were some complaints by property owners that they have yet to receive their just compensation from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for an earlier road widening proejct.
Salda also said some property owners are asking for tax credit.
He vowed to refer their concerns to the proper government agencies.
“There are some who have certain issues to raise which we are willing to refer to concerned government agencies for them to be clarified on the matter,” Salda said.
“We are grateful in our municipality that most of our property owners are cooperating with our ongoing clearing operations,” he added.
