La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda said the municipal government is following up with the Department of Agriculture (DA) for the release of the remaining P15 million alloted for the rehabilitation of the town’s vegetable trading center.
The DA originally allocated P30 million for the rehabilitation of the vegetable trading center.
La Trinidad’s vegetable trading post is already three decades old.
Salda said the La Trinidad municipal government is preparing the implementation of the last part of the rehab.
“We are currently preparing for the implementation of the remaining phase of the project but we want to make sure that the committed funds for the project is available to us before we start working on the continuation of the noble project,” he said.
