La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda has ordered the temporary closure of establishment that are not providing basic necessities.
The Benguet politiko said the order is in effect during the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine from March 16 to April 15.
Among the shops affected by Salda’s order include bars, computer shops, billiard halls, clothing retail stores, dry goods stores, cellphone store, salons and barbershops, auto repair and supplies shops, hardware stores, and car wash shops.
Salda also said restaurants and other food establishments may open only for takeout.
Groceries will only be allowed to open from 6AM to 7PM.
“We earnestly appeal to our constituents to understand and cooperate in the implementation of stringent policies that will restrict their mobility considering that the same is for their safety and security and such inconveniences will be temporary until such time that the situation will normalize,” Salda said.
