La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda has ordered an inventory of trees that pose danger to the public.
The Benguet politiko said dead, leaning, or falling trees “may cause imminent danger to life and property.”
Salda said these kinds of trees will especially be dangerous during the typhoon season.
He said he has ordered barangay officials to submit a list of trees that may be cut.
Salda said he will order the “possible issuance of an emergency cutting permit.”
