La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda said there are no more active coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases in the capital town.
The Benguet politiko made the statement after the discharge of the 79-year old patient and his 46-year old son.
Salda said the two were already brought to their home in La Union.
“We are relieved after our remaining COVID-19 patients were discharged that resulted to the no active COVID-19 case not only in the municipality but also in the whole province to date,” he said.
But Salda added that there are still suspected COVID19 cases in La Trinidad who are still waiting for their swab test results.
