La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda said the success of the first town hall meeting has empowered residents to air their concerns in the town.
The municipality is conducting its second town hall meeting on December 2.
The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has ordered local government units to conduct town hall meetings several times a year so that officials can hear residents’ concerns.
“We want to replicate the success of our first town hall meeting we conducted several months ago,” Salda said.
“We want to listen to the comments, suggestions and recommendations of our constituents on the way we implement our programs, projects and activities so that we will be able to cater to their needs,” he added.
