La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda has allowed some 100 cutflower and candle vendors to sell their wares at the Kilometer 5 parking area.
The vendors are allowed to sell their products in designated stalls from October 15 to 28 in time for the commemoration of All Saint’s Day.
Salda explained that the move will help the vendors recover from the negative impact of the coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic on their livelihood.
He also called on residents to buy from flowers from local growers so they can recover from their losses.
Salda said local growers were not able to sell anything during the graduation season and previous occasions.
