Tuba Mayor Ignacio Rivera said the municipal government will be acquire a long-term loan of P45 million to purchase a 5-hectare lot where a planned one-stop shop government center will be built.
The Benguet politiko said Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) already approved the loan.
“We are awaiting the completion of the required documents for the processing of the approved loan so that we will be able to push through with the project,” Rivera said.
“We really need to establish a government center along Marcos highway so that our constituents and the public could easily transact business with our extension office in the area,” he added.
Rivera also said the one-stop shop government center will house an extension office of the municipal government, a multi-purpose training center, and a agricultural and handicrafts trading center.
