Bakun Mayor Bill Raymundo recently led the distribution financial aid from the Labor Department’s Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa Ating Disadvantaged and Displaced Workers (TUPADD) program to the town’s seven barangays.
There were 224 beneficiaries of the TUPADD program in Bakun.
Each beneficiary received at least P3,000 for 10 days of work.
The Benguet politiko also lauded Benguet caretaker and ACT-CIS Representative Eric Yap for looking for additional funds for the program.
Raymundo said the program only had 25 beneficiaries per barangay in the beginning.
