Mayor Pooten: 2 new COVID19 cases in Sagada


Sagada Mayor James Pooten on January 9 announced that the town has recorded two new coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases.

The Mountain Province politiko said the two are town’s eight and ninth cases.

The patients are from Barangay Ambasing and Barangay Antadao.

Pooten said contact tracing has been completed in Barangay Ambasing so it will not be placed on lockdown.

Meanwhile, the eastern side of Sagada will be placed on lockdown until 11:59PM of January 11 while contact tracing is ongoing.
